Birth Doula Services in Fernandina Beach, Florida
Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach families bring a unique warmth to parenthood. I provide dedicated doula support that respects your pace, honors your instincts, and keeps you feeling confident from pregnancy through your baby's first days.
Why Amelia Island Families Choose Doula Care
Living on Amelia Island or in greater Nassau County means being part of a close community that values personal connections and unhurried living. Doula support aligns naturally with that philosophy. Rather than navigating pregnancy alone or relying solely on clinical visits, you gain a knowledgeable companion who walks alongside you through the entire experience.
Committed to Your Journey
Despite the 35-minute drive from Jacksonville, I am fully committed to Fernandina Beach families. On-call from 38 weeks, I prioritize being there when labor starts.
Warm, Judgment-Free Support
However you envision your birth, whether unmedicated, with an epidural, or a planned cesarean, I support your choices wholeheartedly and without judgment.
Continuity of Care
From our first prenatal meeting through your postpartum visit, you have a consistent, familiar face guiding and supporting you. No rotating staff, just me.
What Fernandina Beach Families Receive
Every element of my doula package is designed to help Nassau County families feel prepared, supported, and empowered through birth and beyond.
Serving Amelia Island and Nassau County
Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island sit at the northern tip of Florida's First Coast, a barrier island community known for its Victorian downtown, natural beauty, and welcoming atmosphere. Nassau County families often have a strong sense of community and seek out care providers who share their values of attentiveness and genuine connection.
While Nassau County does not currently have a large birthing hospital on the island, many families deliver at Baptist Medical Center Nassau in Fernandina Beach or choose to go to one of Jacksonville's larger hospital systems such as Baptist Health, UF Health, or Memorial Hospital. I am experienced in all of these facilities and will support you wherever you choose to give birth.
The approximately 35-minute drive from Jacksonville to Fernandina Beach is one I make with intention and care. When I commit to your family, that commitment is complete. I will be there for every prenatal visit, and I will be there when your baby is ready to arrive.
